Working alpha

Great news! We have now working prototype of our app. It communicates with server and already has the most functionality. You can download socdev.apk on our project site in section downloads. User is "test" and we now dont check password so you can play with it.;)

Development

We are a little late with development so we didnt write any post on blog for a while. We started development and have already some functionality on server connected with something on tablets. I wrote something because now it is only really connected and that prototype almost do nothing.:) Well we know how should look UI and we have already some activities. Our MVP will be a little smaller than we thought but we should manage it in time.

HTA

Here is a document which contains promised HTA. The document also contains use-cases and their scenarios. All these structures are used to determine how users will work with the real application. We now have clen idea of socdev application and can create first prototype. The prototype will be created in the program balsamiq and will simulate future application. It will be used for user testing.

project developing started

So we finished HTA and we will post it soon. Also we started developing on appengine. For now just appengine because there will be main logic of our app. For now we are developing in python. Why python? Because its simmilar to django and we have lots experiences with django. Next plan is to start developing also on android and see how we can connect those two platforms. We expect it would we easy to use like most technologies from google. We will stay in touch.
Btw we werent on today lesson of VIA but we had good reason for that - we all had our promotion ceremony, so from now on we are all formal bachelors!
